Job Title:ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (PROCUREMENT) Location:Johannesburg, ZA Organization Name:School of Chemistry Department Description The School of Chemistry in the Faculty of Science invites applications for an Administrative Officer (Procurement) AD10.Brief Description Qualifications Requirements – Matric/Grade 12 with at least 3-5 years of experience in procurement administration preferably in a University environment. A qualification in procurement administration and bookkeeping would be an advantage. The applicant must be a trustworthy motivated team player who excels in accuracy and attention to detail. Duties The main function of the incumbent is to obtain quotes and process requisitions on Oracle i-procurement for the operational running of the School’s teaching and research activities. To then receipt goods received, forward invoices to central creditors for payment and resolve any open orders. The candidate will also oversee two Store men and assist the Senior Admin Finance Officer with daily claims to ensure the smooth running of the School. The ability to work in a team environment and fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
