The Data and Analytics team specialise in driving data solutions to add value to our customers in a meaningful way. We’re building a team of leading Data Engineering who are passionate about innovation to enable the group’s platform and partner to drive value for our clients – this will enable the progress in Africa we all want to see.

Skills you can learn include – Agile; SQL; Data Modelling; SQL Performance; NoSQL Foundations; BIG Data Fundamentals; Cloud Fundamentals; Hadoop Ecosystem; Data Governance, Privacy & Compliance; Streaming Data/Kafta; Python; Source Control; Data Encryption
If you are passionate about Data and want to get hands on exposure with the guidance and coaching from our Data Leads to work on projects such as- Azure or AWS development end-to-end data solutions with multiple access patterns; explore the data solution for operational master data and analytical master data; assist in migration of the data from old systems to new systems. End-to-end data solution which includes the ingestion of data, analysing the right data platforms, development on the platform, provisioning the outcome to the consumers and application of ML/automation capabilities of the Cloud providers AND obtain a National Certificate in System Development with Data Engineering skills programmes. QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed Tertiary Qualification in any Technology related field (Degree or Diploma)
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 30
- Not be registered on any other learnership
- Not be studying at any other institution
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Start Date: 1 April 2023
Duration: 18 Months (Fixed Term Contract)
Learner Stipend: R10000 per month plus Student Medical Aid
