ARTSCAPE invites graduates to apply for an (EPWP) Internship opportunity in our Marketing department as a Marketing Administration Intern (x1)

REQUIREMENTS
 Must have completed a recognized Diploma/Degree in any of the following
Marketing/Advertising/Graphic Design/ Social media management (Statement of Results must be attached);
 Grade 12 Certificate (Statement of Results must be attached);
 Knowledge of Adobe (or similar) creative suite is required
 Knowledge of imagery and video content manipulation like GIFs, editing and sound insertion would be advantageous
 Must be residing in the Western Cape; (*Proof of residential address to be attached);
 Must be between the ages of 18 – 35;
 Must have a keen interest in theatre and its technical operations is essential for the completion of this program;
 The candidate must be articulate in 2 or 3 of the Western Cape’s predominant languages (i.e. English, Afrikaans, or IsiXhosa);
 Be a South African citizen;
 Must have no previous criminal conviction(s) or case(s) pending; Previous experience in any discipline of the Performing Arts will be advantageous;
 Have a positive attitude, and a willing desire to learn;

SUMMARY OF DUTIES
 Assist with the social media channels and social media applications
 Assist with social media management with large projects, events, and community engagement
 Assist with the creation of new content for audience interaction
 Assist in compiling content for the copy on social media platforms
 Assist with the re-design of graphics and images for social media platforms
 Creating showreel videos from existing production footage
 Creating new marketing material for upcoming productions (focus on digital content)
 Creating digital exhibitions from existing archive material

FURTHER REQUIREMENTS
 Must be Computer literate and be competent in Excel/ Word/power point and Publisher;
 Must be able to work within a team;
 Proficient in English (written);

 Creative thinking;
 Excellent interpersonal skills;
 Superb time management skills
 Excellent planning and organizing skills
 Be connected with social media influencers


*NB! A monthly stipend will be paid to the successful candidate.

Reporting
The Intern will report to the Senior Manager – Communications and Branding for the duration of the internship. A monthly report will be required from the intern to be sent to HR.
