Allocator
purpose
To support the execution of planned seasonal merchandise strategies, to ensure that your department/s has the right stock levels, in the right store, in the right quantity and at the right time taking into account the seasonal strategy, past sales history and current trade.
key responsibilities
Store Stock Management
Allocation of stock to stores in the correct quantities, in accordance with the store grade and profile specifications to optimize sales
Coordination of stock which has been allocated to stores for redistribution to alternate locations where sales are more optimal to clear the stock and maximize sales and profitability.
Reporting and Analysis
Analyze stock performance by store by sub department, to identify and react to areas of potential and concern in stock levels in stores.
In collaboration with the team, monitor store current trade and analyze the previous week’s performance to identify and take actions that will maximize sales.
Support the Buyer and Planner in Post seasonal analysis (monthly and seasonally) to identify opportunities to increase sales in the upcoming season.

Coordinate the delivery of customer stock requests
requirements
- Relevant Diploma or Degree such as Bcom, Finance, Supply Chain & Logistics; Retail Business Management
- 1-2 years related experience
- Excel proficiency; Business Acumen; Analytical;
