HUMAN RESOURCES / ENGINEERING DATA CAPTURE CLERK
Purpose of the position:
The incumbent will liaise with and solve Epko personnel’s immediate HR matters. The incumbent will also assist the engineering department with planning and record keeping, as well as capturing maintenance data and providing preventative maintenance schedules.
Responsibilities:
Human Resources (HR) functions:
• Liaise with NWK HR regarding HR related policies, processes and procedures.
• Taking minutes during disciplinary procedures, union and other HR related meetings.
• Assist Epko employees with basic HR queries and procedures.
• Keep record of HR related matters on personnel files.
• Attend all HR related meetings.
Engineering support functions:
• Data capture of job cards, downtime and related plant maintenance data.
• Issue planned maintenance schedules.
• Develop and update planned maintenance schedules
• Keep records of all mandatory inspections and arrange such inspections before due date.
• Compile monthly maintenance statistics and reports.
• General office and administration functions.
• Develop PSM (Process safety Management) program to administer “Management of Change” procedure.
Skills:
• Excellent written (e-mail etiquette) and verbal communication.
• Strong team building, problem solving/analysis and people management skills.
• Exceptional administrative, analytical and time-management organisational skills.
• Reliability and responsibility.
• Team player.
• Motivated and able to work efficiently under pressure.
• Good negotiator
Minimum requirements:
• Relevant degree / Diploma in HR management or equivalent.
• 1 year relevant experience in Human Resources.
