Job description
KPA / Main Outputs and responsibilities for this position

Customer Focus

Serves as first point of contact with customers;
Selling tickets to customers;
Open and close the ticket office on time;
Adhere to Cash Handling procedure;
Handling of Information and customer queries effectively;
Follow, in a strict adherence, the safety rules and procedures;
Restart, control and monitor equipment and systems according to the operation Procedures;
Perform Station Opening and Closing & PVU reports;
Inspect all emergency exits daily;
Handle incidents and emergencies;
Report to the OCC Manager and the ASH:CS, incidents or activities likely to affect Passenger flow;
To participate in the investigations into station operational incidents;
Execute fare evasion checks;
Attend to customer’s queries at the TVM and on the concourse when on Station duties, support duties and roaming duties;
Ensure availability on the concourse, at least 80% of the time to provide accurate information to customers;
Collection and delivery of stock, document bags, groceries, etc. from Sandton station;
Any other duties as assigned at any station by the ASH: CS and /or Station Head
To ensure the safe operation of the station;
To ensure the application of the appropriate safety standards for service delivery;
Control and monitor station equipment to ensure availability to passengers and reporting of faults.

Background Requirements

Grade 12
Any tertiary qualifications would be an added advantage
Basic Computer skills
1 years relevant work experience in customer service
Fluent in English (read, write and speak)
