LABORATORY ATTENDANT – REF: LYA- JW359/2022
REMUNERATION: R157 336.56 BASIC SALARY PER ANNUM
PURPOSE
Clean laboratory, glassware, apparatus, bench tops, floors and spillages to ensure that cleanliness and good housekeeping and maintained at all times.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Report hazardous chemical spillages, malfunctioning instruments and any deviation from the cleaning procedure to the Laboratory
Analyst and Manager. Maintain adequate stock levels by placing orders for cleaning materials.
Prepare sample filters to be ready for filtering water samples. Move and lift furniture and equipment. Adhere to all relevant safely procedures as stipulated by the Company and OHS policy including the requirements of the ISO 17025 standard
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential qualifications and experience:
• Grade 12 (NQF 4) with Maths and Science
• 1 year experience
