Job title: Data Administrator (6 Months Fixed Term Contract)

Key performance areas
Design the Case Referral forms to meet the study and donor objectives
Validate records on an on-going basis to ensure the accuracy of information is maintained
Review Case Referral Forms prior to capturing on the designed system
Request source documents from clinic if the documents are not filed in the participant’s file
Track files i.e., ensure that files are not misplaced between the administration team and the data team
Maintain study file by ensuring the correct version of the protocol and standard operating procedures are filled
Filling of case referral forms once captured, and Quality controlled into the participants files
Order stationery via the procurement department according to the standard operating procedures
Enter Data daily in a timely manner on the required system as dictated by the standard operating procedures for each
project.
Enter queries and resolutions on the system after discussing with Project Head and Data manager
Storage of records on a weekly basis in line with protocol requirements

Required minimum education and training
Grade 12

Required minimum work experience
2 years’ experience in data administration environment

Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities
Knowledge of MS Office
Knowledge of Redcap
Attention to detail
Computer literacy
Report writing skills
Ability to deal with or handle confidential information
Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
