INTERNSHIP FOR THE LARGE LOAN PROGRAMME (12 MONTHS CONTRACT

About SEF and the job:

The Small Enterprise Foundation (SEF) is a developmental microfinance NGO, with over 200 000 clients, which alleviates poverty by enabling self-employment through micro-enterprise. We are dedicated to reaching the most disadvantaged in rural communities and currently work in such communities throughout most of South Africa.

SEF’s Larger Loan Programme (LLP) aims to reach the Micro and Small Enterprise segment of entrepreneurs with an individual-liability loan product and a suite of non-financial services to accelerate business growth. The development and scale-up of the LLP requires an intern to assist with a host of projects related to risk management, product development, digitalisation, marketing, and operations.

The intern will be based in Limpopo and will be required to work onsite and remotely. SEF provides all interns with accommodation and a monthly stipend.
