EPWP General Workers 

DIRECTORATE: INFRASTRUCTURE

DEPARTMENT: WATER & SANITATION

REFERENCE NUMBER: 4/4/3/6

Requirements:

• Physical Fit and healthy
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions
• Certified copies of ID and proof of address
• Proof of banking details

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

STRUISBAAI WATER NETWORK:

• Cleaning of sewerage pump stations
• To expose pipes for maintenance
• Deforestation of pipeline routes
• Adhere to all safety regulations
• Assist with maintenance of equipment & water connections.

WATER PURIFICATION:

• Assist Process Controllers with samples
• Cleaning of sedimentation tanks, channels & filters
• Cutting trees, sweeping the yard outside & taking out refuse at the plant.
• Assist Process Controllers with cylinders movement.
• Assisting with mixing chemicals.

MAINTENANCE OF TOILETS:

• Assist with maintenance & repairs of toilets and leakages
• Cleaning of blockages

STEP 2: Attached certified copy of your identity document

STEP 3: Proof of banking details (bank letter / bank statement)

STEP 4: Submission of application can be hand delivered or emailed together with your certified Identity document & proof of Banking Details to your nearest Municipal Office or submit at (OLD Nedbank Building) in Bredasdorp.
