| Job Title: Food Services Assistant Location: Johannesburg, ZA Organization Name:  Johannesburg Cash CentreDepartment Description Currency Management Department Brief Description The main purpose of this position is to render food preparation/serving and cleaning services at the serving areas within the Johannesburg Cash Centre. Detailed Description The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas: >Organise self to ensure that work allocated is completed within set time and defined standards. >Perform routine and well-defined tasks under direct supervision(including ordering of required ingredients, lunch club food preparation, serving food to lunch club members, till point, setting up and preparing meeting rooms/pause areas, cleaning and other scullery duties). >Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in own work areas. >Apply basic rules of courtesy when in contact with other employees and visitors to the cash centre, always displaying a service orientation. >Engage with own team members in a manner that reflects a sound and effective working relationship. >Proactively understand the impact of own environment output in relation to a wider service delivery context and proposition. >Willingly and enthusiastically make useful and meaningful changes to manner in which he/she works. Job Requirements To be considered for this position, candidates must have: >a Grade 12 certificate or an equivalent qualification; >a certificate in food preparation would be an added advantage; and >one-year experience in the hospitality environment, specifically in the area of cleaning and serving.
