Glencore Operations SA Coal Division is offering vacation work opportunities to dynamic, result orientated students in the following disciplines:
- Mining Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
About You
To be considered for this role the following requirements will apply:
- Studying towards a degree in one of the above stated disciplines – proof of registration will have to be submitted.
- A CV which includes a certified copy of your ID and your latest academic record.
- A Letter from an Academic institution stipulating the vacation work requirement will have to be submitted
- Proof of residence will have to be submitted as successful candidates will come from local communities where Glencore Operations South Africa Coal Division Operations are located.
- Preference will be given to Coloured, Indian and African females.
- Successful candidates must be in possession of a valid certificate of fitness or be fit enough to obtain one prior to commencement with the training as this is a requirement of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
