Job Advert Summary
the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a professional, effective and efficient frontline and administrative support service to the Analytical Services Department at Vereeniging.
Minimum Requirements

• Matric Certificate / Grade 12
• Minimum of 4- 5 years’ experience as a receptionist or similar environment
• Advanced computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Experience in Minute Taking
• Provided support to meeting basic SHEQ requirements
• First Aider Certificate Level 1 will serve as an advantage
• Valid Code vehicle driver’s license and ability to pass Rand Water’s K53 test
Primary Duties

Monitoring and managing the reception area of Rand Water Analytical Services, projecting a professional image in serving as the face of the company, Receiving arriving visitors, and providing direction to them; and handing them over to relevant staff Manage the Analytical Services building security log of who is entering and exiting the building. Manage the switchboard and all incoming calls, taking messages and delivering them Accept deliveries for personnel in the building and ensure they are collected by the recipient in a timely manner. Manage all incoming and outgoing mail including collection of mail from the VG station and the VG Post Office Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and free of clutter, and ensuring no loitering Assist HR with new applicants who come into the building providing them with any reference material they may need. Handle filing and data entry as required Assist with Asset management and control as required Typing and provide general administrative support to the Analytical Services Department Filing and retrieval of documents / files as well as perform ad-hoc administrative duties eg. Sending of faxes, emails, making of photocopies etc. Organizing and providing a support service to relative functions and meetings, setting up of equipment, minute taking, catering and ensuring venues within the facility are booked procedurally and correctly Overseeing of office equipment and ensuring sufficient stocks (printers and faxes) SHE representative and first aider for the Support Section
