a detailed curriculum vitae and cover letter;

Duties and responsibilities:
Manage the reception area in the Dean’s office.
Refer students and visitors to the appropriate person/department.
Assist students with academic advice (in collaboration with the Faculty Manager).
Process comments on student records.
Manage a filing system for student enquiries & other files photo copying.Assist with the administration of the international students’ applications.
Assist during the registration processes.
Assist with the completion of financial forms and filing.
Assist with the travel and accommodation arrangements for the Dean.
Assist with the managing of appointments for the Dean.
Assist the EMS Teaching and Learning Manager.
Manage the reception areas in the Dean’s office.
Communicate with students, the public and UFS staff members.

Inherent requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences completed prior to 2021 or to be completed in 2021.
Provisional acceptance letter for an honours degree or other postgraduate qualification in the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences for 2022.

o Proven computer skills, including but not limited to MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.• Leading: 
o The ability to maintain high levels of personal motivation, energy and enthusiasm.
o The ability to be cooperative with others, display a good-natured attitude, and encourage people to work together.

• Building Coalitions:
o Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Recommendations:
Postgraduate contact sessions should be after working hours.Sound academic record.

The following criteria apply to the selection of candidates:
Not currently participating in an existing learnership / internship programme.
Willing to sign a learnership / internship agreement with the UFS.
Candidate must be available for a period of 1 year.
Postgraduate qualification will serve as a recommendation.

Assumption of duties:
1 December 2021 or as soon as possible.

Salary: The salary is R7 353.50 per month.
