Job Description

Robert Bosch is looking for a Training Administrator who will support the organization with training functions by overseeing communication with participants, vendors and also assisting the development of programs, for the aim of attaining the set business goals and objectives. 

Please take note this is a fixed term position for a duration of two years. 

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the coordination of employees and management of training programs
  • The training administrator runs the daily operation of the training department.
  • The administrator communicates with internal and external vendors, register employees to trainings
  • Carries out the responsibility of coordinating an organization’s employees and overseeing the management of their training programs
  • Assist in the design and development of training courses the documentation, presentations and videos related to the training
  • Submit the reports of all training activities and the results that are achieved
  • Ensure invoices are being paid and all accounts receivable are well managed
  • Suggest new training programs or improvements when required.
  • Ensure classrooms are booked and set properly for the training sessions
  •  Assist training providers and participants to stay in contact
  • Maintain training records such as training lists, schedules, and attendance sheets
  • Supports and assist the organization’s training function by overseeing communication with participants and vendors, and also assisting with the development of the most effective programs, for the major aim of attaining the set business goals or objectives
  • Suggest new training programs or improvements when required
  • Take part in developing and implementing training programs
  • Solves issues and queries
  • Supports the onboarding of learners, apprentices, Interns and graduates
  • Register learners and apprentices onto the Manufacturing Services Education and Training Authority systems (NSDMS) merSETA and other Sectoral Education Training Authorities
  • Oversee the preparation and dissemination of materials such as instructional notes, feedback forms, and so on
  • Supports Learning and Development with the application for trade tests
  • Schedule Skills Development Committee meetings
  • Takes minutes of the Skills Development committee
  • Schedule ongoing meetings between L&D and Apprentices/Graduates/Interns

Key Requirement Include:

  • 2 – 3 years of experience working as an administrator, training coordinator or related role
  • Strong know-how of office procedures and office billing
  • Basic knowledge of project management
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems like NSDMS, TrainM will be an advantage
  • Outstanding multitasking and organizational skills
  • Administration skills
  • Time conscious and ability to reach set deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and adequate knowledge of databases and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Familiar with database concepts

Qualifications

  • Completed Grade 12 (Matric Certificate)
  • National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management
  • Assessor Certificate will be added advantage
  • Moderator Certificate will be an added advantage
