Driver – Cryogenics (EC “DGP”)

𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙑𝙖𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙮 𝘼𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙩 !

We are on the lookout for a Cryogenics Driver to join our team.

𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲: Driver – Cryogenics (EC “DGP”)

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆: OneLogix UB Cryogas (Pty) Ltd

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

•Vehicle and equipment inspections
•Adhere to working hours and instructions
•Safe transport of goods while practicing defensive driving skills and adhering to the company policies and procedures

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱:

•RSA citizen
•Grade 12 certificate and valid
•Driver’s license code “EC” and valid for at least 5 years
•PDP code “DGP” and valid
•Age minimum 35 years and not older than 55 years
•Dangerous goods experience minimum 3 years
•Driving and tanker experience minimum 3 years
•Must be able to pass pre-employment vetting approval, driving skills and vehicle assessment
•Acceptable driving history. The following will be taken into consideration:

• Previous employment reference checks
• Qualification and criminal verification
• No avoidable accidents in the past 3 years
• No serious driving offences in the past 3 years
  •Medical fit (drug test will be conducted)
  •Have excellent knowledge of road rules
  •Practice defensive driving skills
  •Adhere to company policies and procedures
  •Able to carry out manual handling tasks such as loading and offloading of vehicles
  •Able to work shifts including weekends
  •Work overtime when required
  •Demonstrate good customer service orientation
  •Demonstrate good communication skills
  •Team work orientated and self-motivated
  •Extensive knowledge of main routes
  •Excellent communication skills – both verbally and writing
  •Self-starter and able to work under pressure
  •Previous training experience in tankers will be advantageous
  •Must be prepared to travel nationally
  •Must have own transport
  •Must be fully vaccinated
