Administrator Distribution and Logistics (Fixed Term)
Objective of the job:
Provide efficient administrative services in line with local, global and legislative requirements.
To administer the Distribution process in terms of orders, stock levels, cancellations, re-allocations and the monitoring of overseas and local systems in compliance to the Company’s Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy & S.H.E.Q requirements and to perform delegated S.H.E.Q tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.
All activities will be done in compliance with the Company’s Integrity Code and other relevant policies.
Main Tasks:
– Customer delivery dates: To monitor and administrate the accuracy of the calculated customer delivery date (planned delivery date) in order to ensure optimal customer satisfaction. This includes the interaction with the overseas plant.
– Distribution policy adherence: Administration of all transactions in adherence to the New Business Model for V-Class and to the Distribution Policy for Sprinter and Vito.
– Adhoc logistics: To support the Vans division with any additional logistics support. To co-ordinate the process of ordering, allocating and delivering Vans for diplomat and disabled customers.
– Supplier Coordination: Administration of all supplier contracts, performance and cost within the parameters laid out in MBSA’s purchasing policy. To create orders for monthly service delivery by suppliers. To interact with the eNatis licensing department.
– Orderbook Management. The administration of the Vans order book from factory order placement to delivery to dealer. To ensure the specifications of the Vans are as per the Order Sheet. To manage the process flow of Vans from factory to dealer.
– Shipping. To ensure all Vans are shipped and cleared according to their production dates and in line with South African Revenue Service’s requirements. To communicate with clearing agents in order to provide the correct and required documentation.
– Self development: Take personal responsibility for Learning & Development through a process of assessment, reflection & actioning, including on and/or off the job training, and sharing learnings with team.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
Excel Intermediate
Computer Literacy (Power point/Excel/Word)
SAP Wholesale Template (SWT) for Sales, Distribution and Logistics
Application knowledge – SWT, Dealer Front-end System (DFE) and Sales Transaction System (STS)
Communication and interpersonal skills
Experience:
1-3 years’ relevant experience.
