Job Purpose The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a competent individual to assist the Regional Librarian in providing a service to affiliated public libraries in the region. This post is stationed in Blaauwberg. urpose | |
Minimum Requirements Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification). A valid code B (or higher) driving license. Note: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities but have reasonable access to transport may also apply. | |
Recommendation Experience in the Computerised Library Management System (LIMS); Relevant exposure/experience in an administrative environment. | |
Key Performance Areas Administrative support to the region and affiliated public libraries; Provide asset control support services; Provide personnel administration support services within the office; Provide financial administration support services in the regional office. | |
Competencies A good understanding of the following: Job knowledge; Asset control; Computer literacy in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Planning and organising; Written and verbal communication skills; Interpersonal relations; Teamwork. | |
Remuneration R 176 310 per annum (Salary level 5) Note on remuneration: Employees’ service benefits or obligations (13th cheque, medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc) are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements. | |
