Job Advert Summary TB HIV Care (THC), in existence since 1929, is an internationally recognised non-profit organisation. We provide health care services throughout South Africa to both the general population and communities at increased risk for HIV and TB, including adolescent girls and young women, sex workers and people who use drugs. The Data Capturer will be responsible for capturing all programme data from the Global Fund People Who Inject Drugs Programme. He/she will work with the M&E Officer in ensuring data quality by following the data flows, M&E guidance and plans for the programme. When applicable, support the M&E Officer in analysing data to improve programmatic performance. | |
Minimum Requirements Minimum of a Matric Certificate/Grade 12 Computer literate in MW Excel, Word and PowerPoint Minimum 2 years of data capturing experience Experience in data capturing Experience in HIV/AIDS prevention and care and support programming an advantage Experience capturing data on online programmes Fluent in English and isiXhosa | |
Duties and Responsibilities Check data captured against source documents, and investigate and flag any concerns with data source documents Ensure that all paper based forms are scanned and backed up electronically Ensure that all paper based forms are locked in suitable, safe and accessible storage area Work closely with programme team on continuous data quality and development to ensure effective programme implementation and high quality data collection Contribute to the development of reports and presentations for external engagements Assist with administrative tasks including printing, filing, additional data checks, etc. | |
