Administrative Assistant

The ARC-Tropical and Subtropical Crops (ARC-TSC) seeks to appoint a highly skilled, experienced and dynamic person to the following position at Addo in the Eastern Cape:

Administrative Assistant

Key Performance Areas:
 Processes and reconciles farm petty cash requests,
 Ensures appropriate production input stock control,
 Creates and manages requisitions for farm requirements (AX),
 Ensures compliance with SCM policies,
 Arranges and provides clerical functions for farm meetings,
 Manages and Captures staff leave (ESS),
 Administer timesheets,
 Keeps farm production system records,
 Ensures OHS compliance,
 Assists to respond to audit compliance queries,
 Liaises with farm produce clients,
 Keeps records and reconciles farm produce sales,
 Assists the Farm Manager with monthly production and security related reports,
 Assists with assets tagging and verifications,
 Assists internal and external clients with the booking of ARC facilities,
 Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.

Requirement:
 National Diploma in Office Administration or equivalent,
 At least 2 years office administration experience,
 Good communication skills (written and verbal) across all levels,
 Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently,
 Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office suite,
 Global Gap with Occupational Health and Safety experience will also be an added advantage,
 Valid SA drivers’ license.
