The Eastern Cape Department of Education Internship Programme provides an opportunity for Social Worker graduates to gain the necessary application skills, as well as “hands on work” experience in the field of specialization for Nineteen (19) months contract.
The Interns will be placed in all 12 ECDoE district Offices across the Province and @ Head Office.
PERIOD: 19 Months
STIPEND: R6 174.90 Per Month
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum Educational Qualification: Degree in Social Work.
• Registration a professional council: Registration with the South African Council for Social Services Professions (SACSSP) as a Social Worker and proof of payment of registration for 2022.
• Participant who have previously benefited from the program will be disqualified.

Applicants are required to submit a completed Z83 form obtainable from any Government institute. Certified copies of ID and qualifications, and Curriculum Vitae with at least 3 contactable references, must accompany such form. Applicants must quote the district where the vacancy is. Only applicants who in all respects meet the advertised requirements will be considered.
Failure to submit the documents above will result in disqualification.

Participants who have previously benefited from the Internship Programme will be disqualified.
