DGMT Vacancies

Mobile Health Services for Young People.

Over a million people were vaccinated against Covid-19 through mobile outreach services in informal settlements and rural areas. The KeReady campaign proved effective in encouraging many young people to get vaccinated. By providing 37 new outreach vehicles, this model will now be used to reach other young people who have not yet been vaccinated and to extend the package of primary health services available to them.

This is made possible through a grant to the Department of Health from the Federal Republic of Germany. DGMT, a South African foundation, is the project implementer, working with the provincial departments of Health in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Western Cape and Eastern Cape.

Subject to finalisation of all agreements, DGMT would like to recruit individuals who are passionate about extending health care to underserved communities, focused on young people.
