SENIOR ASSETS ACCOUNTANT – (REF NO. HRM/11/22)
Minimum job requirement
LOCATION: HEAD OFFICE
MINIMUM SALARY: R733 974.68 per annum on a D – Lower Paterson Broadband (All inclusive)
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: 3 years tertiary qualification or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Commerce coupled with 5 years related experience in finance accounting environment, of which 3 years’ experience should be at a Supervisory Level. A valid driver license is a pre-requisite and registration with the relevant professional body is advantageous.

Key responsibility
Reporting to the Finance Manager the incumbent will be responsible for: * Management and verification of the movable and infrastructure assets * Develop, update, compile and manage the assets register of the organisation * Coordinating planning and designing of assets category management systems * Ensure effective coordination between the SCM, Technical Services and other departments in the planning and acquisition of assets * Identification of assets to be disposed * Submit reports on assets verification * Ensure all projects assets are capitalised * Ensure that all projects invoices are processed on time * Assessment of the useful life and residual value of all the assets * Ensure management of inventory and fleet management systems * Directly supervise subordinates * Ensures compliance with all the financial management legislations, regulations, policies and procedures * Ensures compliance with all LNW’s policies and procedures requirements, code of ethics and confidentiality.
