Requirements: * Matric certificate * Have at least a three (3) year tertiary qualification in Law from a recognised tertiary institution OR Have a three (3) year qualification in Traffic Management or Police Management or Administration from a recognised tertiary institution * Have at least three (3) years relevant working experience * Must be in possession of at least a code B valid driving licence free of endorsements * Extensive knowledge of the AARTO Act and regulations, National Road Traffic Act and regulations, Provincial Traffic Legislation and Local Authority By-Laws, Criminal Procedures Act, National Land Transport Act and regulations, Cross Border Road Transport Act, Promotion of Administrative Justice Act, Promotion of Access to Information Act and relevant regulations applicable to traffic and transport management * Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) * Ability to apply one’s mind fairly and objectively and uphold justice in the adjudication of cases and demonstrate the good and ethical values of the Agency * Required to provide valid reasons for all cases adjudicated and substantiate reasons for decisions * Required to work on-site in the office * Must be able to work from home when required (Quiet area to work without interruption, Desk for laptop, mouse & extra screen, Office chair, Resident in an area where Vodacom 3G/4G reception is available, Safe storage of laptop).

Duties: * Support the optimisation of the section/unit: * Contribute to the development of operational plans in the Unit * Comply to all policies and procedures in the Unit * Conduct operations administration, recorded keeping produce related reports * Systematize the achievement of deliverables against operational plans * Demonstrate knowledge of the latest development within area of expertise * Take ownership for own work, performance management and development * Introduce improvement opportunities within area of expertise in line with best practice to optimise performance * Engage in problem solving and continuous improvement to maximize output of area * Process revocation of enforcement order applications: * Consider applications for revocation of enforcement orders as per section 20 of the AARTO Act * Evaluate applications for revocation of enforcement orders and decide on the most appropriate outcome * Conduct investigation to verify facts where, necessary * Perform National Contraventions Register (NCR) transactions as required * Record outcome for revocation of enforcement orders* Update the NCR accordingly with the required outcome* Ensure that the 21 day processing rule is observed and adhered to * Notify the Manager of any matter that may result in a revocation not being adjudicated within the 21 day period allowed * Compile and submit reports to the Manager* Provide support to all RTIA AARTO campaigns in the organisation as and when requested * Contribute to mitigation of risks * Contribute to review and enhancement of Revocations policy, standard operating procedures and framework * Subject to audits and/or investigations to confirm absence of inappropriate conduct * Inappropriate conduct may lead to dismissal.
