IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. The Company is committed to skills development by providing local community youth with opportunities to gain work experience in various skills areas. It is therefore inviting applications for an Artisan Learnership.
The purpose of the qualification is to build the knowledge and skills required by employees in organisations who need to qualify as artisans. It is intended to empower learners to acquire knowledge, skills, attitudes and values required to perform as a qualified artisan in a South African community and to respond to the challenges of the economic environment and changing world of work. Minimum
Requirements:
. Minimum Grade 12 certificate with Maths and Physical Science passed on a minimum Grade of
40% / N3 qualification in the following engineering study field
. Instrument Technician
. Diesel Mechanic
. Electrician
. Fitter
. Boilermaker
. Mechanical
. South African (SA ID) Certified
. Reside around Ivanplats (PTY) LTD mine
. Proof of residence from INDUNA
. Fully vaccinated against COVID19 certificate
