Job Description

Welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner and providing them with porter services between the Hospital Reception, the Doctors’ suites, Emergency Department and various Units/Wards within the hospital.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 or equivalent level of education.
• 0 to 1 year previous experience as a Porter in a hospital environment (advantageous).

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Attend to all patients and customers’ needs in a professional manner.
• Transport/accompany patients between different department in the hospital.
• Transfer of documents, medication, etc between hospital departments.
• Maintain patient confidentiality, in all daily duties.
• Deliver a customer-focused admissions experience in as efficient a manner as possible.
• Respond to calls from various departments.
