Job description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To participate in the daily operations of the Gautrain trains and resources so that our safety, quality and performance targets are achieved.
To ensure Customer safety in the trains.
To ensure seamless travel for our customers that is safe, reliable, comfortable and friendly.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist the train driver for operational and safety activities
Participate in the implementation plans and strategies to continually enhance the level of service provided to passengers.
Answer passenger’s queries and provide information on the services
Responsible for the security of the passengers in the trains
Know and apply all safety procedures and rules.
Minimum requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Grade 12
A medical test will be organized in order to access the capacity of the candidate for the job
Valid Driver’s license
Fluency in English
INHERENT JOB REQUIREMENTS:
To be rigorous, reliable
Good communication skills (Verbal and written)
Good interpersonal relations
Must be customer focused
Ability to work shifts as starting and ending times will vary according to operational requirements
Ability to work any day of the week
