Job Description
Somerset House invites young, enthusiastic, hardworking students who are currently or who intend to study education part-time, through a recognised tertiary institution, to apply for a one year internship position in the senior or junior primary phase.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Classroom assistance, observation, preparation and presentation of lessons
- General academic duties including assisting with marking and invigilation
- General duties and involvement in the school extra-curricular programme
REQUIREMENTS
- Matric certificate with Bachelor’s Degree pass
- Current enrolment at a tertiary institution part-time would be advantageous
- Must be willing to take guidance and instruction from teachers
