| Job Description | RCL FOODS is seeking a Millwright to join our Foods Division. The role will be based in Tzaneen and report to the Maintenance Manager. RCL FOODS is looking for an incumbent to be responsible for ensuring that plant maintenance is done effectively and accurately in such a way to ensure minimum downtime. |
| Minimum Requirements | Millwright Trade Test Minimum 5-10 years production line or FMCG maintenance experience PLC/VSD Drives experience will be an advantage Knowledge in mixers, dividers, proofers and conveyor systems Oven burners and bakery equipment Ability to communicate on all levels. Ability to work systematically. Ability to prioritize workload. Report writing and analysis. Mentoring apprentices. Must be able to work shifts and be available on callouts and standby if required |
| Duties & Responsibilities | Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the machines do not deteriorate. Inspect drives, motors, belts, bearings, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions following checklists. Be able to comply with Food safety standards, and previous FMCG experience will be an advantage Assemble, install and / or repair, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment on steam and waterlines Ensure that your department complies with all Health and Safety requirements. Record maintenance and repair work performed. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Projects and machine installations Accurate completion of administrative forms |
