Description
Duties and responsibilities:
– Open and assess condition of laundry equipment periodically
– Inspect residence laundry’s on a set schedule
– Conduct routine scheduled preventative maintenance service to the laundry machines.
– Draw up and continuously update preventative maintenance schedule.
– Attend to work orders daily and institute repairs to washing machines and tumble dryers.
– Installation of spare machines whenever required.
– Disconnect and connect laundry machines.
– Transport laundry machines between different locations.
– Calibrate laundry machines.
– Keep record of work schedule.
– Keep detailed record of parts and repairs under each serial number.
– Complete incident reports.
– Order parts for the laundry machines.
– Update laundry equipment asset register.
– Conduct trend analysis.
Inherent requirements:
• Grade 10 or N2 majoring in electrical.
• Valid Driver’s License.
Recommendation:
• Experience working in the Higher Education Sector.
• Experience working with industrial laundry equipment
• A minimum of Five (5) years relevant experience to duties and responsibilities

Salary:
The annual remuneration package, including benefits is R 181 480.54 – R 199 869.73 per annum depending on the budget available for the position, relevant work experience and qualifications.
