REGISTRY CLERK (REF NO. HRM/02/22)

Minimum Job requirement

LOCATION: HEAD OFFICE

MINIMUM SALARY: R159 837,34 per annum on a B-Lower Paterson Broadband plus medical aid, housing subsidy/allowance and pension/provident funds benefits

Minimum Job Requirements:  A 3-year National Diploma in Record Management or equivalent with two years experience in Record Management environment.  A valid driver’s license will be advantageous.

Competencies

The incumbent must be computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel) * Knowledge of registry duties, practices, and data capture * Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills * Must have the ability to work under pressure and beyond normal working hours.

Key responsibility

Reporting to the Record Management Officer, the Registry Clerk will be responsible for: * Examines all incoming or outgoing documents to establish and verify document  eligibility * Classifies and codes information and documents for captures on the records management system * Registers all incoming and outgoing documents in the Registry Book * Obtains authorisation/signatures for documents received or sent out * Identifies and retrieves archival documents for users * Records file and document movement.* Labels storage facilities, assembles and label new files * Reviews documents for shelf life span and removes inactive or dead files * Provide centralised printing services as requested Distributes or mails incoming or outgoing documents * Sorts archival information and documents for filing in accordance with paper/document management protocols * Adheres to the applicable policies, procedures, code of conduct and legislation * Oversees the cleanliness of the corporate building * Prepares boardrooms and committee rooms for meetings * Ensures the availability of water, refreshments, utensils and other resources at boardrooms and committee rooms *  Ensures the upkeep of vending machines, refrigerators, aqua coolers, etc. * Orders supplies for boardrooms, committee rooms and kitchens * Ensures compliance with all LNW’s policies and procedures requirements, code of ethics and confidentiality.
