JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY AND PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
The intern is responsible for supporting the overall team to meet daily operational goals and metrics, respond to adhoc tasks and support all urgent service delivery requests.
SCOPE OF WORK: DELIVERABLES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
- Support the follow up of all system owner requests for remediation.
- Manage the incident queues for both Discovery and CMDB configuration with the oversight of the senior team members.
- Learn and understand the overall BMC solution being supported, question and identify anomalies with intent to solve issues or escalate to senior team members.
- Support all team members with adhoc duties.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- Experience in a structured methodologies of Incident, Problem, Capacity and Availability management (advantageous)
- Experience with EIT software applications (advantageous)
- Microsoft office suite, email, excel etc.
- Matric.
