The Municipality servers to invite all interested and qualifying participants to apply for participating in an Expanded Public Works Program Fire Brigade Employees.

Stipend: R3 360.00 per month
Requirements
•Grade 12
•Fire Fighter 1 international accredited certificate with (South African Emergency Services Institute)
•Fire Fighter 2 will be an advantage
•Hazmat awareness
•Basic Ambulance Assistant / First Aid Level 3
•Age Restriction, not older than 35
•Both female and male youth from uMzimkhulu jurisdiction area.
Working details
•12 Working hours on different shifts (day shift 7am and night 7pm to 7am)
•12 months contract
•An applicant must be physically fit and healthy, also be able to work under pressure for longer hours if need may be when rendering services in all areas within uMzimkhulu.
•Be able to speak English, IsiXhosa or IsiZulu languages.
