PL1 Lecturer: Public Management/ Administration x1 Post (Permanent)

Salary Range: R214 908.00 – R474 945.00

Requirements:
A recognised REQV 13 qualification in Public Management/Administration. A professional teaching qualification will be an added advantage. One-year relevant teaching experience. An Assessor or Moderator certificate will be an added advantage. Must be registered with SACE and computer literate. 

Key Performance Areas:
Teaching Public Management N4-N6. Setting and moderation of assessment tasks. Responsible for registration, students’ academic support, classroom management and administration of PoA and PoE’s. assessment which includes compliance to assessment examinations and moderation policies and leading coordination of assessment. Subject/Curriculum which includes development of academic support programmes, liaison with student support officers, management of students behaviour in the classroom and attendance.

Requirements:

Requirements:
Grade 12. At least 1-2 years relevant experience working with students in the students residence. Administrative and supervisory experience will serve as an added advantage. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Valid driver’s licence. Good interpersonal and planning skills. Ability to work long hours. 

Key Performance Areas:
Ensure the provision of an environment within the residence that is conducive to the development and success of its students at the residence. Ensure student discipline, ensure that housing committee execute their responsibilities. Ensure that inventory of the house and its immediate precincts is maintained in good order and lose of and damage to movable assets are kept to a minimum. Monitor the provision of quality service of the residence, cleaning of the building. Required to perform additional responsibilities. Expected to interact with students in a friendly and caring manner. Conduct regular fire, emergency and safety checks and drills in the residence in consultation with the health and safety officer.

Requirements:
A three years tertiary qualification in Business Studies or equivalent. At least one-year relevant experience in Student Support Services. Knowledge of Students Financial Aid Services and Administration, student tracking and tracing. Problem solving skills, good communication skills (verbal and written). Good administration skills, presentation skills and computer literacy skills with proficiency MS Excel and MS word. A valid driver’s licence. Participation in sports, arts and cultural activities will be an added advantage.  

Key Performance Areas:
Facilitate Campus SRC Training and provide guidance on Campus administrative matters. Assist with the implementation of wellness programmes (HIV and AIDS. Campus safety initiatives, alcohol and drug awareness, suicide awareness and education, etc). assist with student events organisation and administration and providing special academic support assistance to all categories of students and their needs. Facilitate peer training and counselling sessions for the students. Advise management on critical student issues that needs urgent attention. Provide career guidance to students. Facilitate extra mural activities and students involvement in community outreach programmes. Enforces student disciplinary policy and code of conduct. Administer all bursary forms and conduct orientation and induction sessions for all students. Track and trace students and facilitate work readiness and entrepreneurship sessions.

Requirements:
A recognised three-year qualification in financial management. One-year relevant experience in finance. Good communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work under pressure and beyond normal working hours. 

Key Performance Areas:
The successful candidate will be responsible to serve as the secretary. Manage the diary and co-ordinate the travel arrangement. Develop and maintain a filing and record keeping management system. Remains up to date with regard to prescripts/policies and procedures applicable to her/his work environment to ensure effective and efficient support to the manager. Perform monthly reconciliation. Receive invoices. Check invoices for correctness, verification and approval. Ability to draft memorandum. Ability to correctly interpret and apply policy. Good reasoning, mathematical, analytical and innovative thinking ability as well as problem solving ability. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements:
Minimum NQF Level 4/ Grade 12 qualification. Code C1 Driver’s license plus PDP. At least three years driving experience. Ability to work long hours when required and under pressure. Good planning and organising skills 

Key Performance Areas:
provide driving services for Sekhukhune TVET College staff and students. Transportation of goods for the college. Cleaning and safekeeping of college vehicles. Perform messenger duties for the college. Loading, transporting and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe timely manner. Assisting with loading and offloading items from vehicles. Deliver documents from campus to campus.

Requirements:
Senior Certificate. Must be able to read and write. Good communication skills and interpersonal relations skills. At least 1-year experience in gardening. NB: Preference will be given to local residents within the Municipality (Proof of residence to be attached). 

Key Performance Areas:
Mow lawns, cut the edges of lawns and water gardens. Does general garden development and maintenance work. Clean the surrounding area. Cutting and trimming of trees and any other duties that will be assigned by the supervisor.
