DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR THE EXPANDED PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAMME POSITIONS (EPWP) ON A FIXED TERM CONTRACT
POSITION: ADMINISTRATION CLERK, CLEANER, GROUNDSMAN, COURTESY OFFICER/QUEMARSHALL
REF NO: EHD/EPWP 2022/2023
DISTRICT: Ekurhuleni Health District
FACILITY: Ekurhuleni Health Facilities (Clinics & Hospitals)
STIPEND: R3 500 per month
DURATION: 01 July 2022 – 31 March 2023 (9 Months Contract)
APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY:
•Must be a South African Citizen
•Must be unemployed
•No criminal record
•Resides in Ekurhuleni District and near to the Health Facility you are applying for (Proof of residence required)
•Must NOT have previously participated and benefited from EPWP Programme
ADMINISTRATION CLERKS
Requirements
•Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification + post matric
•Good communication skills, both verbal and written
CLEANERS
Requirements
•Certificates / School report or equivalent qualification (original stamp not older than 6 months)
•Good communication skills, both verbal and written
COURTESY OFFICERS/ QUEUE MARSHALLS
Requirements:
•Certificates / School report or equivalent qualification (original stamp not older than 6 months)
•Good communication skills, both verbal and written
GROUNDSMAN
Requirements:
•Certificates / School report or equivalent qualification (original stamp not older than 6 months)
•Good communication skills, both verbal and written

•Applicants must indicate the preferred facility of choice on the Z83 form
