VACANT POSITION

70 EPWP VACANCIES
TWELVE MONTHS CONTRACT: 01 JULY 2022 – 30 JUNE 2023
MONTHLY WAGE: R3 000.00 AS PER THE EPWP MINISTERIAL DETERMINATION

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
•Must have a Grade 8
•Valid South African Identity Document •Must reside in the Alfred Nzo Region Geographical Jurisdiction
•Applicants must not be less than 18 years.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
•Assist in the execution of duties by the Water Services Department (IDMS).
•Assist in excavating and backfilling trenches to defined using hand held tools.
•Assist laying pipes and / laying & coating cement mixes and soil to reinforce structure using hand held tools.
•Assist in cleaning & removing blockages, debris and alien vegetation from drainage system and manholes using hand held tools.
•Assist in Water & Wastewater Treatment plants in cleaning and clearing unwanted vegetation.
•Assist in leak detection, installation of water meters and fixing of faulty water meters.
•Undertake any task that may be assigned by the supervisor.
