What will you do?
Santam Agri is looking for an experienced Junior Clerk – Crop Insurance who will serve in the Policy Department. The position will be based in Bloemfontein offices and will be responsible for:
- Maintain, record, and ensure that all documents relating to the policy department are correctly achieved electronically.
- Manage the collection of policy documents for the daily administration of the business.
- Understand the policy administration process.
What will make you successful in this role?
- To ensure all received policy documents are captured correct and swiftly
- Accurate Indexing and filing electronically
- Receiving and distribution of all incoming post
- Distribution of all relevant documents to clients
- Collection of signed policy documents for administrative purposes
- Answering telephones
- Support to Brokers
- Support to Agri personnel
- General Administrative duties
- Capturing of received policy documents with addendums
- Accurate indexing and filing on Electronic Filing System – Content Manager
- Receiving and distribution of all postal documents
- Answering Phones
Qualifications and Experience
• Grade 12
• 2-3 years’ experience in dealing with Insurance Policies would be advantageous
• Experience in an insurance environment recommended
Knowledge and Skills
- Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong planning and organizing abilities
- Fully Bilingual
