The Graduate Development Programme aims to create a pipeline of young and talented individuals within the business and offers graduates an opportunity to development themselves in line with their completed qualification.
You Bring
- Matric Certificate
- National diploma/degree or equivalent qualification in agriculture, majoring in animal production or animal science
- No experience required
- Computer literacy in MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to work well in a team and collaborate
- Initiative and openness to learn
Key Responsibilities
- Handling and processing of feed and raw material samples following SOPs
- Coordinate sample movements from ANH team and customers
- Log the sample information into a database
- Manage sample storage – in and out bound
- Work with Retch grinder to process feedstuff sample(s)
- Scan sample(s) through the Near-Infrared Spectroscopy machine(NIRS)
- Store the sample(s) for an allocated time before discarding
- Send samples for Wet-Chem analyses to external labs when required by the ANH Team
- Assist with SOP validations – continuous improvement of procedures
- Maintain records of equipment’s services and repairs
- Reporting
- Generate and file reports
- Communicate to the Junior Account manager/QA for verification -Log the results into the database
- Ad hoc
- Attend to any other relevant tasks as and when required by the team
Important Note
This is a fixed term contract for 24 months and applicants must not currently be enrolled in a graduate development Programme. We will assist you to register with Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP)
