Description
Position: Caretaker
Department: Human Settlement
Division: Community Services & Relationship Management
Salary: R 221 880 – R 304 344 Per Annum (Plus Benefits)
Core Responsibilities:
Plan, organise and undertake daily work tasks effectively and ensure a high standard of work is maintained to ensure efficient service delivery to the tenants and maintain Council property in a habitable state
Execute operational responsibility and ensure that governance and risk management process in the context of organisational policy is applied to ensure necessary compliance with necessary legislative requirements
Perform daily responsibility to implement the budget in respect of rental stock and hostels to ensure responsiveness to responding to the public’s needs and ensure that the citizen or public are satisfied
Provide effective customer service to the tenants and build relationships with stakeholders to ensure responsiveness to responding to the tenants needs and ensure that tenants are satisfied
Build and sustain relationships with decision makers and interest groups, in support of divisional objectives to ensure a performance driven section and achieve the division’s objectives
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 11
1 – 2 years’ industry related experience
