| Minimum Requirements | Grade 12. Physically fit – able to carry 50kg bags. High level of honesty and integrity. 3 months’ previous experience in a production and warehouse environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Able to work overtime. Effective reading, written and verbal communication skills. |
| Duties & Responsibilities | Collect completed materials, number of bags and product type from Stores and ensure that bags are loaded or stacked properly. Bagging and sewing of 40kg bags. Stacking bags onto pallets. Loading and offloading trucks. Verify the bagging system scale and check that scales are accurate. Report surplus, shortages and any quality related problems with the bags and Feed. Ensure correct feed, bag tag, weight of bag produce sewing. Ensure that the work area is clean and hygienic at all times. Perform all job tasks with accuracy and speed. Be an integral part of a high-performance team. Comply with all Food, Health and Safety Standards. Comply with Product Quality Standards. Ensure correct loading of bags according to documentation. Ensure safe stacking and non-mixing of product codes on the same pallet. Carry out any reasonable tasks. Perform ad hoc tasks as required by Mill operations and/or designated by Mill Management. Time keeping. |
