The following post has become available: ADMIN & FINANCE ASSISTANT INTERN CHP would like to offer a 12 month internship to an eager, dynamic and hard-working person. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop competencies in a variety of administrative and financial areas and develop a range of skills for use in their future career. Duties will include assisting the administrative and finance team with a variety of financial and administrative tasks. Training will be provided on procurement, input of publications information on the Wits publication site, website maintenance, preparing meeting rooms with refreshments and equipment; managing grocery and stationery supplies; deliveries and collections; photocopying; filing; maintaining equipment and asset registers; data capturing; preparation of payment requests, payroll claims and internal requisitions. The successful candidate will also have an opportunity to learn skills in student administration. Candidates are required to have a matric and preferably studying towards their post-school qualification, (preferable in administration or finance), basic computer skills and have a driver’s license with at least 3 years driving experience. Some work experience will be an added advantage. Induction will be provided, as well as essential training on the Wits Software system (ORACLE I-Proc & Project Modules).
