Notice is hereby given that the Knysna Municipality will be appointing suitably qualified temporary staff for the
period of 14 December 2021 up until 21 January 2022 in the Sedgefield Areas.

GENERAL ASSISTANT – BEACH CLEANSING X 2
Waste Management Division
Directorate: Community Services

REMUNERATION
R 39.00 (per normal hour)

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
 Cleaning of all Beach Facilities
 Cleaning of all Public Facilities
 Litter picking

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
 Grade 8;
 Minimum waste knowledge and adequate cleaning practices;
 Effective communication skills in at least two of the Western Cape official languages
 Physically fit and healthy;
 Ability to withstand extremely unpleasant and smelly situations;
 Good sight, hearing and speech ability;
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
 Required to work in all weather conditions;
 Required to work outside normal working hours if and when required.

comprehensive CV with certified copies of qualifications (not older than 6 months), copies of training, experience,
competency and previous employment record.
