Exciting Opportunity for a Legal Admin Paralegal awaits in GSK
Job Purpose:
As a Legal Admin Paralegal, you will be responsible for coordinating a full range of multi-jurisdictional legal advice and services impacting the operations of GSK’s businesses around the globe as well as the ability to manage and prioritize work associated within defined processes.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Reviewing of standard form contracts
- Track shareholders and Directors of all Legal Entities within our portfolio i.e. Maintain accurate corporate secretary database for the company and all related joint ventures, and subsidiaries, including their respective organizational documents. ownership, and other pertinent data.
- Typing, proof reading and formatting of legal documents such as contracts.
- Coordinating and monitoring Legal projects
- Travel management (i.e. booking of flights/accommodation, including arranging, visas)
- Prepare expense reimbursement requests; track and ensure payments of invoices submitted by external counsel in line with Global policy requirements, etc.x1
- Diary management, including booking and managing of meetings and appointments, exercising the ability to screen and prioritize according to importance and ensuring that meeting venues are booked, prepared, equipped with any required items, and cleaned prior to any meetings scheduled; includes supplying refreshments & seeing to catering requirements in accordance with company policy requirements.
- Timeously prepare monthly cash and credit card expense claims.
- Maintain accurate database of all pending and/or threatened litigation
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
- Matric/ Grade 12 Certificate
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification or Studying towards a Legal Degree
- At least 2 years working experience in a Legal Department or a Law Firm as a Paralegal and including administrative duties. Solid company secretarial/paralegal experience; Full working knowledge of all MS packages; copy typing experience; Diary management; Strong administrative and organization skills Limited to 4-5 bullets maximum – more than this is shown prevent applications, particularly from females
