Tomorrow Trust invites students to apply for Bursaries Programme 2022 academic year.
Bursary Application closing date is 31 October 2021
The Tomorrow Trust are inviting students to apply for their bursary programme for the 2022 academic year. Bursaries will be awarded for Diploma, Undergraduate Degree or Honours Degree studies in ANY field.
Students must pursue their studies at one of these selected universities only: University of Johannesburg, University of the Witwatersrand, University of Pretoria, Rhodes University, University of Cape Town or Stellenbosch University.
Bursary recipients will receive the following benefits:
- Cover for tuition fees, textbooks, accommodation, meals and transport. The bursary will cover full or partial fees, depending on students needs and decision by the committee
- Networking opportunities
- Vacation work opportunities
- Work readiness experiences
- Volunteering opportunities with students from Grades R to Matric
- Continuous academic support and psycho-social support for in-house Psychologists
- Numerous opportunities to learn, grow and explore
- Monthly workshops to develop essential skills required for personal and professional growth
- And after graduation, lifetime Alumni membership
Requirements
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- You must be a South African citizen
- You must be between 18 and 30 years old
- You must be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
- You must be studying or intend on studying towards a Diploma, Undergraduate Degree or Honours Degree (Masters and PhD qualifications will NOT be funded)
- You must be studying or intend on studying at one of the following universities: University of Johannesburg, University of the Witwatersrand, University of Pretoria, Rhodes University, University of Cape Town or Stellenbosch University

Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation along with your completed application form (the submission of these documents is compulsory – if any items are missing, your application be disregarded):
Current Matric students or students starting their 1st year of study in 2022:
- ID document (certified copy)
- Grade 11 final report (certified copy)
- Matric reports to date (certified copies)
- Proof of acceptance at one of the selected universities (on university letterhead)
Current University students:
- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric certificate (certified copy)
- Full university academic transcripts to date (certified copies)
- Updated Fee Statement (certified copy)
